Wednesday 6:30 - 7:45 pm Prana Flow
Thursday 9:30 - 10:45 am Prana Flow *
Sunday 10 - 11:15 am Power Yoga
Vale BLNR
Saturday 9:30 - 10:45 am Prana Flow *
* Booking required - if the class is full you can join a waiting list for pop-up vacancies.
Wednesday and Sunday are drop-in no need to book.
NB No classes Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st January.
Please arrive at least 10 mins before the class is due to start so you are settled in a space before it begins. If the class has started when you arrive you may not be able to join in, even if you have booked a place, as this disturbs the other students.
NB I do not have kit for you to borrow; bring your own or buy it at class.
Everyone is welcome to join us regardless of physical ability, age and experience.
The classes do, however, vary in content and pace, so it is important to choose a class to suit you: please ask if you need advice. All classes include pranayama (breathing) as well as strengthening, toning, and stretching asanas.
Which one to choose? Tuesday is the gentlest class then classes get progressively more challenging during the week; Sunday is the most difficult.
* Prana Flow classes are 'yin' in nature, ie slower and more meditative concentrating on stretching and toning the body, so are ideal if you want a less strenuous practice. Prana Flow classes also offer a more spiritual practice than Prana Vinyasa. Suitable for all levels.
* Power Yoga (Prana Vinyasa) is physically challenging with a faster pace. It is 'yang' in nature working on strength and stamina as well as flexibility. You do not need to be experienced, as everyone works to their own level, but students need to be reasonably fit, familiar with the asanas and confident in their practice.
* Chakra Balancing classes are sometimes offered on Wednesday evenings; suitable for all levels.
* Beginners and students with reduced mobility - there is no dedicated class; contact me to discuss if there is a class which would be suitable for you.
* Private tuition is available by appointment to prepare you for a group class and/or to work on specific poses which challenge you. Students are encouraged to join a group of similar students rather than practice privately on their own.
