Most of my classes are Prana Flow. What is a Prana Flow practice? We sometimes forget that Yoga was originally a spiritual practice. These aspects of yoga (meditation and pranayama) are often overlooked in a yoga class. We don’t need to specifically practice these 2 elements; the physical practice offers ways to explore these deeper aspects of our being when we connect with the sensations in the body caused by Prana changing during the practice. We often miss these effects as we rush from one pose to the next, but if we work slowly, mindfully, pause and listen, we discover how each yoga pose subtly affects the flow of Prana (life force) in the body. Yoga teaches us that body-mind-spirit are all the same so positive physical changes benefit the mind and spirit as well. Slow down; pause; feel what is happening in your body, mind and spirit
