Vinyasa Flow/Power Yoga
This practice uses the Vinyasa Flow of a traditional Ashtanga Yoga practice in order to tap into our inner core and help us not only to recognize the different levels of 'power' we already possess but also awaken our potential:
  • Our physical power is developed through the yoga poses resulting in an improvement of the body's natural strength and stamina.
  • Our mental power (willpower) is disciplined during the practice - this clears the mind of unorganized thoughts and helps us to concentrate on a single task.
  • Our spiritual power, the driving force behind physical and mental power, is nurtured allowing us to master our thoughts and actions.​
The class will include Sun Salutations and traditional poses which are sequenced and choreographed to flow dynamically from one asana to the next. This class is particularly suitable for those seeking a practice which concentrates on strength and stamina, as well as lengthening and toning muscles, and opening joints. 
You do not need to be experienced, as everyone works to their own level, but you need to be reasonably fit, be familiar with the poses, and have a regular flow practice. 
Not suitable for beginners: please check before trying out this class.
